Flight Ops Assistant builds on Flight Ops Messaging as a paid add-on for operators who want more proactive support during live missions. Based on your configured mission conditions, it monitors for relevant operational changes and posts useful updates directly into the conversation, helping teams maintain visibility without relying as heavily on manual follow-up and routine check-ins. We're excited to share that Spider X Pro is coming later this year, and the response at Verticon was phenomenal. Spider X Pro is the next generation of Fleet Manager hardware, and a major step forward for operators who want more from their tracking platform.
Spider X Pro builds on everything that makes the current Spider X a trusted part of fleet operations, while unlocking a new level of capability for teams that need it. Key highlights include:
Next-generation connectivity: Spider X Pro supports 4G/5G and next-gen satellite connectivity alongside Wi-Fi, enabling faster flight data offload, over-the-air firmware updates in non-roaming regions, and reliable coverage across a wider range of operating environments.
10th generation GPS with hot start: Significantly faster boot and ready-to-fly times.
Unlimited local flight data backup: Unlike the current 100-hour local buffer on Spider X, Spider X Pro provides unlimited local backup with SD card support. This backup provides a redundant path to support investigation of incidents, especially those in which the Spider is damaged.
Future-ready platform: New capabilities will be delivered via secure firmware updates with no hardware replacement required, meaning Spider X Pro is built to grow with your operation over time.
Spider X and Spider X Pro will be available side by side, giving operators the flexibility to choose the right fit for their needs.
