Since bringing together five aviation software providers under one group, Vellox has focused on reducing fragmentation across flight operations, safety, dispatch, fleet and maintenance. Now, attention is turning to the next phase: how those capabilities come together in practice. We spoke with Aleks Banas, CEO of Vellox Group, about the company’s roadmap and what operators can expect next.

Q1: Over the past year, Vellox has brought together multiple platforms. What is the focus as you move into this next phase?
Aleks Banas:
The first phase was about bringing strong products together under one group. Each of those products already plays a critical role in day-to-day operations, whether that is dispatch, safety, maintenance or fleet visibility.
The next phase is about how those systems work together more effectively. That means improving how information moves between them, reducing duplication, and making it easier for teams to operate with a consistent view of what is happening across the organisation.
We are not trying to replace what already works well. The focus is on building stronger connections between systems so that operators can rely on them as part of a single operational workflow.

Q2: What are the key areas of development within the Vellox roadmap?
Aleks Banas:
There are a few clear priorities. The first is platform-level capability. We are introducing a more consistent experience across products, including single sign-on and shared data foundations, so that users can move between systems without friction.
The second is visibility. We are investing in reporting and dashboards that allow operators to see operational, safety and fleet data in one place, without relying on manual exports or separate tools.
The third is workflow continuity. For example, allowing information to move from initial request or quote through to dispatch and execution without needing to be re-entered. That reduces administrative burden and supports more consistent decision-making.
Alongside that, we are continuing to invest in areas like dispatch capability, fleet tracking and maintenance, ensuring each part of the platform continues to evolve in its own right.

Aleksandra Banas is the Chief Executive Officer of Vellox Group, a global leader in aviation dispatch, fleet management, maintenance and operational and safety solutions.
